Community Participation

Get out, get involved, stay connected.

Disability shouldn't mean isolation. Community participation support is worker time funded specifically to help you do the social and community things that make life worth living — your way, on your terms.

What community support looks like

Why Seareal

Why participants choose us.

Four things that aren't industry standard but should be.

Same workers

Two or three regulars per participant — not a different person every visit.

We answer the phone

Real people on the line, not call queues or IVR menus.

Local people

Workers based in the regions we serve — not interstate.

Honest fit-checks

If we're not right for you, we'll say so up front.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

Standard community participation is about ongoing access — getting out and doing things you already enjoy. Innovative community participation is more goal-focused, often around building specific skills through community engagement.

Yes, where the support is reasonable and necessary because of your disability. Talk to us beforehand so we can confirm it fits your funding.

If your plan also includes transport funding, yes. If not, we can still accompany you on public transport, taxi, or rideshare.

Yes. Many community activities happen on weekends, and we work weekend rosters to support that.

Perfect. That's exactly what this funding is for. Tell us what you're interested in and we'll work out how to make it happen.

Let's have a real conversation about your support.

No pressure, no sales pitch. Just an honest discussion about what you need and whether we're the right fit.
